Inked Hearts
By: Avril Shakira Villar Zamboanga City, Phillipines 🇵🇭
I got your name tattooed on my face, on my hips, and on my heart.
Even if you walk away, you’ll always be a part of
I can’t seem to stop loving you.
Deep to the core of my bones, through and through
I crossed all the lines and broke through all the high walls with Meraki.
In the world of comparison, I won with you; our victory
Darkness can’t retract this lingering, sanguine love.
Loving you is a lifetime course and a gift from above.
Your sharp eyes turned soft.
When it met mine, so aloft
Just like the waves crash the shore,
The lightning strikes forevermore.
I promise that we’ll never find another love like this.
In the depths of our hearts
