Something moved in me when I heard it. I heard the Oud strings and the drums, they called out for my name. They reminded me of home, of the dunes, and the golden sun. I remembered my people. Those who couldn't hold themselves from dancing once they heard the sound of music. Those who smiled through the pain, and enjoyed the moment. Those whose cheers could fill the whole world. I sat down, listening to the music, sipping on my cup of tea. It was unreal, for a moment I was in LA, and in the other,

I was back home, back in my beloved Egypt.
